UNIQUE GIFT IDEAS ...GET ORGANISED

This week has been busy. Two commissions were completed, for a wedding gift and a 90th birthday gift. This is the time to start planning those very personal, bespoke gift ideas.

Just send a detailed photograph of your favourite place or pet and I can start to create that special gift for Christmas for someone who might be that person who is hard to buy for and has everything .

I was at the Scottish Design Exchange shop in Ocean Terminal, Leith, on Wednesday to stock up for Christmas. My coaster range is now available in store as well as original watercolour paintings, giclee prints and greetings cards featuring my images.

There are two packs of Christmas cards available too. The new range of candle tins will follow shortly. The artist networking event in the evening sparked off opportunities for more collaboration.

Sadly my BNI networking group decided to disband, due to being too small. However, I hope to transfer to a neighbouring BNI group in November. The sadness was palpable as we have forged true friendships. Despite this, I was pleased to receive a Notable Networker award.

This week I was also inducted into Kilsyth Rotary club. This will be an opportunity to give back to local communities and contribute to wider global initiatives eg End Polio Now.

It is quite difficult to predict stock requirements due to a series of events pre-Christmas.

The Line Gallery, Linlithgow, postcard exhibition, The Cafe @ number Christmas shopping evening, an art evening at The Port Gallery, Kilsyth and an event with The Colourful Edit company in Melrose are all opportunities to test out interest in the new merchandise.

As my website is gradually being updated it is more likely that I will get an increase in online sales too. I would welcome feedback on the changes. Watch this space.
